back home now from the British Supercup racing weekend at
Ainsdale. I used my new seat from Jon and Helen for the first
time and I am extremely happy with it....its bloody fantastic.
The seat is Red vinyl on the outside and black cordura on
the inside as I wanted, so obviously I am happy with the way
it looks, but I never thought it would work as well as it
does.
The strapping is really strong and has
more attachment points than any other seat I know of. The
new stainless D rings held solid throughout all the races
and the seat never moved an inch no matter how hard I shifted
my weight in it...awesome is not a word I use lightly but
awesome this seat certainly is.
Is it waterproof someone asked, well not
only is it waterproof but it's also Ainsdale mud proof lol...I
know cos I got completely bogged down in the mud/water at
one point it was half way up my wheels and the seat bottom
was dragged right through it but my bum stayed completely
dry :-) and safe from the famous mud.
